Ethics in Fashion Photography

- turned her back into a piece of pizza

4.  No, at the end of the Photoshop they look like a completely different person and it gives people unrealistic ideas of beauty.

5.  Yes, manipulating any photo is very ethically wrong.  For example, one of the videos showed how they made a piece of pizza into a model.

6.  I think fixing red eyes or the lighting in a picture is acceptable.  Things like making stomachs or thighs thinner and eyes or lips bigger are not acceptable.

7.  Fashion photography shows you what the companies want you to see while photojournalism shows you things in real life.

8.  Most fashion photography is completely photoshopped and altered while photojournalism is usually not.  This makes photojournalism a more ethical practice.

9.  I think you showed us these videos so that we can see that not all photos are what they seem and many are changed to show you what the companies want you to see.  I think you also showed us these videos to show us the difference between fashion photography and photojournalism.

10.  I think none of these videos are about guys because things like this don't happen to guys.
