Nautilus House

6. this house was originally built for a couple and their two children. it combines modern architecture with contemporary art.
7. I picked this building for a variety of reasons. the first thing that I noticed when I looked at it was the shape. I immediately knew that it was a shell. I also love all the colors of the stained glass window. on some of the pictures it was super sunny outside and the glass looked so pretty in the light. overall, I really love this whole house.
National Centre for the Performing Arts

5. this building cost 300 million euros to build which is about $340 million.
6. this building was built to have enough seating for it's opera house, concert hall, theatre, and other smaller functions.
7. I picked this building because when I looked it up it immediately caught my eye. when I first looked at this building the shape kind of reminded me of the bean in Chicago. I also liked how it was reflecting into the water in some of the pictures. I think this building has a really cool and unique shape.
Sculptured House

5. I couldn't find anything about the cost to build it but it was sold at an auction for $1.53 million.
6. Deaton build this house so he could "feel the great reaches of the earth."
7. I picked this building because I think it's really unique. I've seen buildings with this kind of the idea but they are always more square. I thought it was cool that this one has more of a round c shape. I also really like the window panels all along the front. overall I just thought this was a really cool house.
Habitat 67

6. Habitat 67 was originally built to be apart of Expo 67.
7. I picked this building because when I searched it up it immediately caught my attention. I like the geometric aspect of it. I also really like how all the squares are the same but they were put it a cool formation. overall, this building has a very unique and interesting architecture.
The UFO House

6. this building was originally built to be a vacation resort but was demolished in 2010.
7. I picked this building because it caught my attention right away. I've never seen anything like these buildings. I like the unique shape of them and how they look like UFOs. I think it's sad that these buildings were demolished. overall, I really like the uniqueness of this building.
