4 Websites: Spiral Staircases

- On the website, there are a bunch of pictures of spiraling staircases taken by Christian Richter. Richter finds spiral staircases in old abandoned buildings and takes photos of them from the top looking down. While the photos are all taken in the same way, the vary in shape and color.

- I learned that there are a lot of abandoned buildings in Germany with spiraling staircases.

My Favorite Photo:

a. I picked this photo because I like the how the faded colors and distressed steps create a rustic and natural feel to the photo.

b. This photo uses lines to draw the audiences attention in a downward spiral down the stairs.

c. Christian Richter took this photo as well as all the other ones on the website.
